Social Media Team

Let’s talk about social media. It’s an exciting tool to use online that has lot of power. As an internet marketer you place some content on your blog and someone retweets it. That piece of information was interesting and it took that much time and effort to retweet it then if you created it. People do this all the time without really thinking what they are doing.

Don’t get me on the wrong note retweeting is a good thing to do. Just like SEO training is a good thing to do. It’s all about getting the information into the marketplace in front of other people. Let’s take a look at market leadership. How are some of these people becoming market leaders?

As I am asking this question, a light bulb goes on inside my head. The difference between a market leader and you is that the market leader is putting stuff out there while you are not. Examine what people put out. There are many things you can put out, a blog post, a podcast, video, a PDF file, an interview, or something else. Take a look at it this way; market leaders are furnishing material to their niche. They get to a certain level because of what they write about. They get involved.

You can do this on a steady basis yourself. Then you would be the one that everyone is talking about. Let’s examine what happens when someone retweets you. Backlinks, you’re obtaining backlinks. This is an SEO tool that people have in their hip pocket. What you want to do is to copy this behavior in an area that you happen to really like.

Once I started doing stuff like this, everything changed for me. It’s all about motivating yourself to get to a certain level. Go, go, and go, you can really do this if you put your mind to it. This is something constructive to go for.

Some individuals are shy about getting into the limelight. This is not a good thing. You have to overcome your fear of being in front of someone if you want to start to make money online. Sometimes people might be afraid of what others might think about them. You just have to get past all of that. The best way to overcome this is to just go about it and do something.

Take 90 days and set out to do something. Write content on a blog every single day. Ok, you can take one day off. The more you are out in the public eye the more people will start to talk about you. Don’t worry so much about what you are writing; the important thing is to get it out there. You can start at anytime. That is just a few things that I can think of that you can do with social media.

The Process Of The Internet Through Social Bookmarking

The impact of social bookmarking is being felt across the world of the Internet. It has now become more visible and has taken on a the name of Web 2. 0. This refers to the fact that people are taking control of how they exchange information, search for information, and exchange information through social bookmarking. The manipulation of data and information is no longer being controlled through a structured language.

The explosion of advertising and marketing that has effectively reduced the Internet to a series of efforts to raise rankings at the expense of sharing quality information, has let to social bookmarking. This method allows an individual to bookmark information that they find of interest in a public folder that is “tagged” and available for the public to access if they are looking for the topic. Using this method, “rankings” become obscured and unnecessary as individuals are doing searches that are “tagged” with the topic specifically related to their needs and interests.

As the attempt to increase social network optimization has increased, many people have adopted RSS feeds on their sites and blogs that can be tagged for social networks. The social networking sites including Twitter, Facebook, etc., do not automatically tag an RSS feed, it must be bookmarked and accessed frequently to make it effectively easy to find.

The social media sites recognized early on that once marketing efforts moved to this medium there would need to be some type of regulation of tagging to keep spamming and hacking to a minimum. The sites continue to work on improving their security levels so that advertisers and marketers cannot create false audiences for their websites and products.

As a website owner who may be considering marketing without using quality information on one of the social network sites it is important to note that if a person blocks a url on their social networking site, it will be blocked on all of their other devices as well. This can be a very costly advertising mis-step for a business.

Unlike search engine directories, there is no standard language protocol for directory search with social bookmarking. A person who has attempted to use standard Internet SEO tactics on social networks will find quickly that the language on social networking sites is different and most of the “keyword” rich articles will have no affect in the way that bookmarking takes place on the social network.

It will be important prior to using social networking as a marketing tool that a person take time to learn the semantics of the bookmarking structure. The bookmarks are organized by the “tag” that is associated to that article or RSS. It may not lead to the website if the correct language is not used in the title of the article or RSS feed.

Social network optimization tools are very different from SEO for the Internet. There is not a marriage between the structure of languages between these two entities yet. However, the Internet search directories will evolve into social bookmarking as more people begin to take control of their information highway.

Social Networking And Increasing Your Sales

Believe it or not, social networking offers you a way to develop some good strong business connections while it also gives you a chance to do a little branding for the localized online market. Of course, while we don’t call it social networking advertising that is essentially what we are doing when we use this particular platform in order to help increase our website’s sales. But since we can’t just toss out any old advertisement, we have to be creative, personable, interpersonal, and if at all possible and appropriate, fun.

Social media give you a chance to build up some new business contacts as well as develop some new and interesting advertising methods. Since social networking is a relationship based way of communicating about your business, you are going to want to spend a little time developing a little of that personable rapport with other users. You do this through your wall.

Your contacts should be people that are either in the business end of social networking or those that have some sort of vested interest in the product or service that your site offers. For instance, if your site sells really awesome vacation packages you would want those who belong to travel groups in your contacts. This will then open the door for you to start writing one or two sentences that build up exposure for your site.

You might start by telling everyone the daily temperature in Aruba when the mean temperature here is barely 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Or you could boast about the great ski conditions in Colorado throughout the early winter months for those who have an interest in the downhill or cross country skiing packages that you can put together. Remember that it is not straight up advertising but general messaging, which means it is more relaxed and less directive.

Social networking offers some very unique methods of getting the word out about your business and the potential for branding is very good. The more you connect with people on an interpersonal level the more you can encourage them to check out your website. This is not random advertising or spamming large groups of people. This is communication regarding similar interests, solving problems, and connecting to other business minded people.

Post an icon on your website for each of the major social networtking precences that you develop.  Visitors to your website are already interested in your market, so make it easy for them to follow you on Twitter, for example, by posting a follow me on Twitter button that is linked directly to your Twitter home page.

Keeping your social networking efforts as part of your daily commitment to growing your business can be challenging when other advertising methods seem like that are so much easier. The reality is that they aren’t any easier and in fact could be considered more difficult. Once you get the hang of it, social networking advertising methods can be very effective in only about ten to fifteen minutes per day.

Learn all you can about advertising in this manner. While social networking is a fun and effective way to get your business out there, there are additional tricks of the trade to help you get started with a bang.

Four Things You Need To Know About Marketing On Twitter

Marketing On Twitter: How To Promote And Build An Audience

Just last week I completed a quick training about marketing on Twitter and the way to use it correctly. But at the end of the training, I felt unfinished. Just like there was something missing. It was that I didn’t prep the listener’s mindset about some the primary parts to marketing on Twitter correctly.

So I’ve decided to make it up in this article.

1- Twitter is used to build relations and trust. Just like stepping out with someone that you like, it will take some time to enhance trust and develop a relationship. Selling on Twitter is not to be used for advertising only. Yes, you will publicize eventually, though not right off the bat.

2- Use Twitter to give worth and to help folks disentangle their issues. Folk seek ‘helpful’ info. They don’t want an advert that asserts basically, buy my stuff!

If you help folk solve their Problems first, you’ll be rewarded with a unswerving fan base who will purchase from you.

This platform isn’t for people who are selfish and are only there to take from others. This sort of behaviour is what we call newbie sales. Amateur’s usually do not have a unswerving fan base on social media sites. Amateur’s are here today, and gone tomorrow. Do not be a non-professional when marketing on Twitter.

3- Targeting your niche on Twitter has virtually become witless to do. Go to www.search.twitter.com to reduce down your micro niche. As an example : If you offer a super hepa air filter, you could use search.twitter.com and enter the keyword, Allergies.

This is what I was ready to pull from Twitter, real time : Argh. The allergies have reared their unattractive head. Everything is so itchy and scratchy and sneezy, I cannot handle it!

At about that point, you might strike up a conversation with this person and ultimately over time you can introduce your super hepa filter to them. But it is’s important to build the relationship first. People buy from folks that they trust.

4- When Tweeting, tweet with good value through engaging content or entertainment. As an example : Sitting on the beach where I was destitute just 3 years back. It’s scary to think where I’d be if I had given in to my excuses.

Be sure to post ‘value driven’ or entertaining YouTube Videos, Articles, provoking Quotes, personal or cool pictures, and plenty of other cool things that shows the world your personality.

Bonus - I could not end this post without showing you the easiest way to market on Twitter with your service or product.

There’s a straightforward rule to follow to a sales offer when marketing on Twitter. Tweet three content only tweets, and then you can tweet 1 Sales offer Tweet.

When doing your sales offer, plug in a value add. For example : ‘Check out this cool new video on The 5 commonest Mistakes Made On YouTube, and the way to Avoid Them http://YourWebsiteURL.com .’ At the end of your video be certain to give directions,eg, ‘ Go Now To www.YourWebsiteURL.com ‘

Tweeting through out the day to build relationships and a solid fan base should take no more than thirty mins to an hour a day. This is a tiny sacrifice in comparison to the rewards you can harvest with marketing on Twitter.

Just as a further bonus, check out Ping.FM or SocialOomph to handle your social media communications.

Enjoy and I am hoping to tweet you at the top!

The Hottest Buzz: Social Media Marketing

Chiropractic Marketing

Social Media is the “hottest” buzz word on the Internet today. For those of you who would like to consider Social Media marketing as an adjunct to your overall chiropractic internet marketing strategy, but aren’t quite sure what all the buzz is about, let’s talk a little about the “Who, What, When, Where, and How” of social media and you, that’s “Who.”

Social media marketing could possibly be very much like, and entirely unlike, any chiropractic marketing strategy you’ve thought about. In the “very much like” category, you wouldn’t consider any type of marketing plan without making an effort to understand what it’s about and what you want to get from it. What are your goals? Once you’re clear about what you want, you’ll be more capable of using social media to your biggest advantage.

Before you actually start your social media endeavor, you will need to make sure that you “own your name” on all the social media outlets, that is to say, be certain that your name or the name of your clinic is procurable so that you can use the identical same name on each and every one of the social channels you want to use. There is a service that is free and will assist you with your search when you’re ready. Knowem.com is the who to go to. This service will research where your name is and/or if it’s available or not on a sufficient number of social media sites.

When you have “locked up” all of your social media accounts, the next step is to choose where you want to be active. Beginning with only a small number of social media sites is the most beneficial because, let’s face it, you have a clinic to run and patients to see. You won’t want to get involved in too many social media sites. How do decide which sites are best for you? The big ones (where most of the action is) are facebook, twitter, linkedin, and Youtube.

What successful social media activity will do for you is build a genuine presence in your community. What you should never do “sell” on your social media sites, in other words don’t sell your chiropractic services, don’t sell products, don’t sell anything! The benefit of social media is for you to have an addition channel through which to network with the community. Of course, let them know what you do, but do it by becoming a participant. There is truly no difference between the way social networking works and the way you normally network offline. There is no getting around it, people on social media do not want to be sold to! Social media sites are similar to a neighborhood backyard barbecue. People are standing around having a conversation about who they are and what they do, and then a person asks you what you do. Or, perhaps you start the conversation by (just) saying, “Hello, I’m Dr. ____. With social media marketing, the same dynamics apply. Social media sites should be handled the same way you’d “work” offline networking opportunities to promote yourself, i.e., answer the questions and concerns that let people know who you are and gets them interested in the who that’s you!

Find Out How You Can Increase Your Online Traffic Using Twitter

Twitter can be used as an effective internet marketing device, what sets it apart from other advertising methods is that you may find yourself enjoying the social networking aspect of Twitter even while you’re providing your target audience with information. As we all know, Twitter limits the tweet size to a maximum of 140 characters. The messages not only need to be short and comprehensive but they need to hook your followers as well. You have to grow the network and have a large number of followers so that your tweets are sent across to many people. In order for your tweets to be seen by a large number of individuals, you must have many friends listed on your Twitter account.

If you know even the basics of Twitter marketing, you’re realize that to get the big numbers in terms of traffic, it’s essential to have numerous followers on your Twitter account. This is true only to a certain extent. Why? Well, the truth is you need more than just a lot of followers, there are other ways to use Twitter as a marketing tool. Instead of trying to collect have the Twitter followers on the map with no known connection you ought to try collecting a still large, but more focused audience. This gives you a smaller list, composed largely of interested prospects, with whom you can exchange tweets. The best way to locate these kindred spirits is for you to make the first advances by following other sellers in your market. If you follow them, they may follow you in return. Once you have followers, you can’t just go ahead and start to send out tweets promoting various affiliate products. This is definitely not the best approach as you don’t want your followers to begin looking at you as just someone else who’s trying to sell them something, which obviously can have a negative effect. Instead of rushing to sell your product, look at things from your followers point of view – they have a real interest in your market. So how is that done? Post links and send tweets about up-to-date developments, purposeful and intriguing subject matter related to the industry. It should be high-quality information of interest and useful to your followers.

You can use Twitterfeed to context your website’s RSS feed to your Twitter account Then when you add something to your RSS feed it will connect to your Twitter account and duplicate the posting there. This assures your updates are done frequently. Be sure not to go hog wild with the posting, as people may see you as a spammer, and no one likes a spammer. So, be sure to use a mixture of manual tweets, and automatic updates. Twitter can literally be a priceless tool for marketers looking to find quality, targeted traffic that is likely to convert. Thi method takes time and effort, but the more time you expend the better your results. So make sure you are consistent with your marketing and regularly update your account to grow your followers, and drive traffic.

Once you’ve established your Twitter account, it’s quite easy to make some money online with it.  Just the other day, I tweeted about how I was using Squeeze Theme, and several people clicked my link and bought the product.  So definitely start building your Twitter rep right away.

All Touching On The Social Media Tool

One of the definitions of revolution is a sudden, sweeping change in something. The American Revolution is but one example. The 1960s counterculture revolution of much of Europe and the U. S. is another example. The social media revolution, currently, is the most recent and widespread.

Social media has changed people into producers of content instead consumers of content. In other words, the tail wags the dog. The way information and knowledge are spread has radically changed. The norm used to be broadcast media monologues, which is where one person disseminates information to the masses. Such familiar modes of this type are TV news broadcasts and newspaper articles.

However, because of the new revolution, these familiar norms are being forced to amalgamate themselves with the unfamiliar new. Now called dialogues of social media, not just one person but also many are now the disseminators of information. We now both gather and produce information, which is why we can be called content producers.

Several popular forms of this exist. One common form is easily recalled ideas or slogans made to galvanize others into repeating them frequently. Another form is print media designed to be scattered again to the public. A third form is the sharing from electronic media, including mobile devices and the Internet, with advanced search capabilities is a third. A final example is grass-roots direct action distribution, including public speaking, rallies, and demonstrations.

Traditional media, also known as mass media, broadcast media, or industrial media, differs from social media in many ways. To begin, social media is less expensive and more easily accessible. Mass media normally needs more resources to be able to share information. Second, industrial media production normally necessitates learning specialized skills; normally, social media does not. In short, social media can be utilized more easily by anyone.

Third, relevancy and response time have been impacted. Whereas the time lag in industrial media often is hours or even days, in social media, it is instant. It should be noted, however, that as industrial media adapts more and more social media tendencies, which soon may not be such a difference anymore.

Fourth, the idea of permanence is very different between the two. In mass media, once an article is printed and disseminated, it cannot be altered. Retractions, corrections, and apologies might be necessary, but the article cannot be changed. However, in social media, changes can be made instantly.

There are similarities between the two forms of media. They both are capable of reaching either a very small audience or a very large one. A TV newscast might be seen worldwide or just nowhere else but your small community. A blog post or tweet can reach the same range of people.

Of course, it is hard to predict the future direction of both social media and traditional media. One school of thought is that a hybridization of the two is occurring and will continue to. In this case, it is use of both mass and social media frameworks. In fact, this hybrid is already being used more and more.

Whatever the future brings, the social media is not transient. It is here for good, even as its future direction is still not clear. Will hybridization continue evolving? Will mass media, as we know it, continue? Will the social media discussion evolve to the point that it engulfs both the traditional and the hybrid? Keep abreast with your local media outlets as we go forward.
