But with literally stacks of bed linen to choose from, where do you invest for the best? Does thread ( embroidery thread ) count really count, and what’s in a weave? If you don’t know your sateen from your seersucker, or are puzzled by pattern, fear not: we’ve asked the experts for all the tips to make buying bed linen a breeze.

BEFORE YOUR BUY BED LINEN When you are going to purchase your bed linen,the first thing you are supposed to take into consideration is whether you are happy to get the iron out,says Chrissie Rucker, founder of The White Company. if you are ,there are lots of splendid qualities and weaves which is available.Most of bed linen is woven from cotton,which is durable and easy to care for,as well as being a natural,breathable fibre,making it perfect for sheets. But top-class bed linen is not all about the thread ( machine embroidery thread ) count.

Thread count refers to the number of strands woven into one square inch of fabric - generally a higher number means a denser weave and a softer, smoother product. Thread counts can range from 180 through to 1,000, but it’s the quality of the fibre used that really makes the difference - a 200 thread count fine cotton sheet can have a softer feel than a 400 thread ( polyester embroidery thread ) count sheet made from inferior cotton (Egyptian cotton is considered to be the finest quality).

Making your own Lace for your Restroom

Lace makes attractive material no matter where you add the designs. If you have already made decorative towels, you are ready to add your lace and serger edges. If you have not stitched your decorative towels ( embroidery thread ) , you will need to learn the steps to get started. Or you can attach lace trimming and serger edges to complete towels you ahve bought. Terry cloth towels look great when lace and serger finishes are attached. You are supposed to continue read it if you want to get it start.

How to get started with lace trimming: To get started you will need a plain or unadorned towel, and lace edges, as well as a galloon, i.e. the decorative trimming lace. The narrow bands of embroidery ( machine embroidery thread ) should consist of lace, braids, or thread colors of gold and silver. You may need lace more than others. Make sure that the material is machine washable. Purchase the medium-weight lace, such as the taffeta, satin, or polyester.

How to create lace trimming for bathroom towels: Once you have your materials gathered: (1) use the decorative trimming and cut an inch of the lace, cutting until it extends considerably a distance of your towel width. About a half-inch, fold the fabric ( polyester embroidery thread ) under, folding it at the ends.

In the desired position, pin the lace to your towel. You want the pins over the lower borders or edges. (2)You have folded ,stitch along the ends. Stitch along the edges of your scallop sides, keeping your stitching in a straight line. (3) Use the edges of your lace and repeat step one. You want the lace this time to fasten to the lower borders. Along the end folds,stitch and go on to the upper borders. Don’t keep in a curved line ,just let it keep straight. You are supposed to be completed at this point ,or you need to over the upper borders of your lace. During this instance,on the contrary side of the bias band,just cover it. At present, you have prepared to invent your over-lock completed edges.
